There is a way you can help neglected, abused or abandoned children and teens, who cannot safely remain in their parents’ care. Join the Sonoma County Family, Youth and Children’s Division in caring for
and keeping these vulnerable children safe – become a foster-adoptive parent and provide foster children with safe and loving homes. Foster families offer temporary care for children who may return to their families, and for children waiting to be adopted into permanent homes.
Our foster-adoptive parents are single adults, one-or two-parent families and same-sex couples.
We especially need foster parents who speak Spanish at home, and foster parents who can care for sibling groups, toddlers and teenagers.
Enrich your life and the life of one or more children by becoming a licensed foster parent. Open your heart and your home to a child in need and make a difference in a child’s life. Call us at (707) 565-4274 today.
